I take the car in for a service. there is a board that states that they wont be held responsible for, damages etc etc... I know that. I left my sunglasses in the vehicle and low and behold, its gone upon collection. i get told " that's sad when things like this happens" and " sorry"and " I should have taken all my belongings out.
this is not a car wash.. This is a big professional car dealership that, to the very least, should have people or a person there going through the car when dropping of and reminding the client to either take the goods out or, even better, take any forgotten valuable goods and place them somewhere for safekeeping as the possibility for is obviously high. instead, I get told "sorry, remember next time" no real effort was also made in either searching the staff, sending out a memo or anything that could calm me down...
It is sad that these things happen in South Africa, however, just as the client should take care in removing belongings, the service provider should have measurements in place in case the client does not do so
now that is sad... sorry...!!!
