I had booked a c class mercedes from woodford car hire or tambo airline. I was to pick up a client in johannesburg and therefore required an upmkt vehicle. I missed my flite from dbn and the next available flight available was only to lanseria airport.
I took the flight and called woodford to cancel my booking for the mercedes. Upon landing at lanseria, none of the car hire companies had a suitable car available. I then called woodford OR tambo and asked them to hold my car as i could not get a vehicle at lanseria, and would try and get a lift to OR tambo.
I could not get a lift to OR tambo and called back to apologise and explained my problem. The manager called me back and said that Owais from Durban headoffice had authorised them to send a driver to pick me up from Lanseria, which they did AT NO EXTRA COST. I was picked up and taken to OR Tambo where my vehicle was waiting ready for me to pick up.
Thanks to this incredible service I made my meeting in time. I have told this story to quite a few business friends and every single one of them was amazed at the lengths which this company went to! Hats off to Woodford car hire and you definetely have a customer for life.
