I visit the Caltex Petrol Station in Main Road Strand, Cape Town quite frequently. But the last couple of months this has become nothing more than an irritation. The service station was enlarged a while ago with more pumps and a better shop. But now the station is completely understaffed. I have stopped at this station about 5 times now that I wait for 5 to 10 minutes and I am not helped. Eventually I just leave as I am not willing to wait longer to throw in petrol. And I see the staff are very busy, but there are simply to many cars to help. 2 people can't help 20 cars at the same time. I feel sorry for the staff that needs to run around like mad. This problem is clearly due to mismanagement and I feel negative about using this station now.
