This morning on my way to take my daughter to school and my wife to work, I was harassed and disrespected by four petrol attendants. Only two names I could catch - Piet and James. Piet was the petrol attendant that filled R100 93 Unleaded and I paid with two R50 notes that I had just withdrawn from the ATM. When I paid Piet yelled at me and told me not to go as yet. I waited for him for 5minutes and when he came back he said that he cannot accept the money and I need to pay with other notes. I told him that that was the only money I had. That is when he started shouting and harassing me and my wife. He took the car keys from the ignition and other three attendants joined him. James opened the door at the backseat and tempted to take my daughters school bag which my wife managed to grab. One note had ink and he said he cannot accept it. This matter should have been dealt with in a professional manner. When I asked for a manager they refused. Finally, I made a call to the police and that is when another gentleman with no uniform (baldhead) said I can leave they will accept the money, he refused to give me his name and title. As a customer I am not happy with the way I was treated.
