This is a complaint regarding the KIA franchise in Edenvale. I had my KIA Rio Tech serviced on the 17th May 2013. I removed all valuables except my 2 Memory sticks (1GB and 16GB) with music on them. I put them in my ashtray inside my centre console underneath a dust cloth which means they were concealed. My complaint is that some KIA employee found it necessary to take one of my memory sticks (the 16GB one), this was not in eye view which means the particular employee was scratching around for something to take. WHY can KIA employees not leave a customer's belongings alone?
This was the 1st thing I check when I went to pick up my vehicle, I confronted the Service manager, the first thing he said to me was "Did I sign the form that stated that I removed my Valuables from the vehicle", he was not even apologetic in any way. I understand that all valuables needs to be removed but sometimes a person forgets about something and you hide it away as a last minute resort.
