Paid 2500 to hire a car.during my lease a black motor-cyclist damaged the rear light.he is 60 n a pensioner..i lodged an accident report n reported this to the rental company-they called the black guy and he made arrangements with them to repair the light..i contacted them to refund my deposit-they say i must get the black guy to write a letter in which he accepts liability for the accident n then they will consider refunding my deposit-i told him this-he is rude-cuts the call and puts his fone off-police dont wanna get involved as it is not a criminal matter-i cannot go to this guys home due to safety reasons.
the rental company has placed me in a difficult situation-im a single female and it is so difficult for me to get this black man to respond to my calls-how on earth am i going to get him to write a letter?
apparently, vrentals have repaired the damages, which they've said to me earlier was less than the excess of their insurance-y then are they not prepared to refund my deposit".mohamed the manager is extremely rude- he is not open to reasoning- he thinks he can dictate to police who also tried to explain the situation to him..i' will never recommend this company to others!!
