My son, Girushen Naidoo, took my VW Citi Golf to the Engen car wash at the corner of Republic Road and Rabie Street, on Sunday at about 10am.
A full wash was done and the attendants polished the mags on the car with an unknown chemical substance.
This chemical substance damaged the paintwork on mags on my car. We went back to the car wash to tell them of what had happened but they didn't care much nor did they know what chemical was used on the mag wheels.
This will cost me a fortune to repair and the manager has a very casual attitude about this matter.
I consider this a very serious issue and I believe that I must be reimbursed for the damage to the mag wheels.
