I saw a vehicle I was interested in on a website, I then gave BEC a call to find out if the vehicle is still available as I am interested. After I was told the vehicle is indeed still available, I then said I would come around later the afternoon to check th car out, and if I am happy with the condition, I already have finance in place, I am going to buy the vehicle.
When I got to their site the afternoon, (which was far from where I stay), the vehicle was already sold! And the excuse was that there's plenty of salemen on the floor, and another salesman obviously already sold the vehicle to someone else...
The salesman then wanted to sell me something else on the floor, which I was not interested in!
Why tell me the vehicle is still available, if the chances are good that someone else is already busy with a deal on it? By doing that they wasted my time, and my petrol!
I suggest you get a system whereby one can see if there's currently a dal on a specific vehicle in progress or not.
Whats the point in phoning to check availability, if this is the result?
