In June 2012, I bought a seat for a Mini Cooper S from GG Motors.
I had to pay the full amount of R1000 into their bank acc, and a further R311.90 to timefreight apon delivery for courier costs.
The seat supplied was faulty, as the reclining mechanism did not work at all.
I phoned the women I had dealt with, Karika, and she said I must return the seat for a replacement.
The seat was returned, and a second seat was sent to me. This seat had the exact same problem as the first. The reclining mechanism did not work.
Karika said I should return the seat again, and she would refund my R1000, plus the courier costs.
The seat was returned.
Countless phone calls and emails to Karika, and as many failed promises and apologies from her, I still have not been refunded.
She blames the admin dealing with the refunds, and keeps promising me she will sort the problem out and get back to me. Which she NEVER does.
The manager is apparently always busy or conveniently out when I phone.
I am really fed up of all their promising to reimburse me.
I find their way of doing business dishonest and unethical to say the least.
