Manhattan Motors
Selling unroadworthy vehicles

I recently bought a vehicle at Manhattan Motors PTA, and was looking forward for a healthy "after sales relationship". I must say I am extremely disappointed with the way they are handling customer after sales services. I took a delivery of the car on the 13th of April 2013, as a norm i was given a temporary licence which expires after 21 days, and was promised to receive the vehicle licence before the temp licence expires. I was shocked when I went to the local municipality to collect the licence that they haven't paid for the licence as stipulate in the contract and that the car requires roadworthy tests which they told me they have taken care of. To date (11 May 2013) after contacting them on numerous occasion, the car is parked at my house not roadworthy and still not licenced and no one is willing to assist me. I have acquired a vehicle with a purpose of using it as a means of transportation, not as a liability that is parked in my garage. I am not surprised that the vehicle was not taken to the roadworthy centre because the rear tyres are worn-out, windscreen has chips and all this I had explain to the sales person who promised that he acknowledged
