I 've been getting sms's from Proton since last year advertising Gen2 models for either R950 or R1100pm. I''ve been advised not to buy this product but my children wanted Gen2's with a vengeance. Francois was contact person last year.person. Got sms with same advertisement about three weeks ago, decided to call Gezina branch on 3 May2013. Spoke to Ben, will send application immediately, oops! Francois called Monday 6 May, sent application form via email. Sent application to Gezina, applied for two Gen2's. Approval next day. Installment not as advertised, 1700 1900 Gezina apparently re-submitted application, approval-R6200 deposit on one, other one no dep. Wednesday came-new story-R15000 dep on each of the cars required by Bank-re-submitted-installment 1400 on each car. Resubmitted- reply on Thursday 9May 2013new installment1600pm. I have bought a lot of cars in my life but never have I seen such juggling in my life I am definitely not impressed with Proton Gezina's service and will discourage anyone who wants to buy a Proton not to engage in the process I had to go through. My daughters are disappointed but I am set to get them two cars from another German supplier.three installments in 4days???
