REFUSED WARANTY CLAIM AFTER ONLY 17000KM 2 YEARS

MY father purchased a renault fluence from seamans renault in george . at 1700km the car has been in to replace the clutch for the 2nd time [2011] model . he was made to pay as the problem was deemed to be WEAR AND REAR . The dealer and renault sa seem to think this is acceptable... I DONT, I WOULD RATHER BUY A CAR THAT LASTS, AND A MANUFACTURER THAT STANDS BY ITS PRODUCT!!
