After having applied online for various possitions, I was contacted by the staffing agency in question.
Every other agency treats the prospective candidates with dignity and respect as far as I have found it to be, however the call that I returned this morning lead me to believe that this was vastly different, to say the absolute least.
Never have I found such unprofessional, rude service, I have never been so offended in all my professional career. After having to wait whilst the individual herself sorted out her other daily tasks (something which seemed to be made my fault!), I became aware of the fact that I was not someone who was of value to the agency (despite them having contacted me) but an absolute nucience..and nothing other than a commodity.
I was made aware of the fact that, due my industry experience I was equated to a 'goverment employee' (without the individual in question having ever met me or discussed my professional experience with me) and that 'only 20% off applicants from my industry get hired', so speaking to a so called expert I wanted to know why?
Bad mistake, I was then told that I had a 'bad attitude' and had the phone put down in my ear.
