I sent my CV to Paul (the owner of KONE Staffing Solutions). When I called to inquire, I was told I was not short listed for the position despite the fact that I have years of experience. When I asked why I wasn't shortlisted, I was told the other candidates are far more superior than I am and the phone was put down in my ear. What kind of attitude is this?? This agency preaches equal opportunity, it preaches integrity but the owner of the agency can't even grasp that concept. I was undermined and I feel like a target. I can't help but feel that this is a race issue, the agency is black owned, so why wasn't I considered. I have the experience but my CV was thrown into a pile. I deserve a chance like any other candidate. My race should not play a role. I am qualified and can do the job.
