We have never been to Doppio Zero Restaurant before, but Friday afternoon, after a visit to Granny Goose in the Southdowns Centre, we saw this restaurant next to Granny Goose and it displayed such a relaxing atmosphere, that we decided to have lunch. Being non-smokers, it was nice to sit outside on the veranda where the no smoking allowed - sign, actually two signs close together, was clearly displayed. While enjoying out starters, a party of four ladies arrived, moved two tables close together, sat down and two started smoking, and one of the ladies actually made a comment about the no smoking allowed sign. Disappointing to us, was the total disrespect of the management of this restaurant to execute this law. One of the ladies was greeted, whilst smoking, by one of the personnel, a guy in a white uniform. Needless to say we were disappointed, finished our starters, asked for our bill and decided not to have lunch. Why display this sign, if it is clearly the intention not to execute the law?
