Manager's attitude to customer complaint

Last night we ordered 1 large pizza and 1 hot sub for delivery. We live about 2km from the shop. It arrived 55 minutes later, which we didn't mind. However, we did mind the fact that the dot was black and the pizza was cold. We told the driver and he agreed that the pizza was cold and asked if we could phone the shop to let the manager know. My husband phoned and spoke to the manager, who told him that the pizza was hot when it left the shop, so it doesn't matter that the dot is black and pizza is cold on delivery, and we should still pay for the order. My husband insisted that he is not going to pay, so she eventually (after arguing and bad attitude) said we can have the pizza free, but WILL pay for the hot sub (which was actually a cold sub). He said he's not paying for it as it forms part of the order and was made the same time as the pizza and delivered the same time, so is obviously just as cold as the pizza. She replied 'We'll see about that'. He hung up the phone, kept the free pizza and sent the sub back with the driver, as he was not going to pay for cold food. The manager's attitude was unacceptable, she was extremely rude and needs to learn how to treat customers.
