This is just a Warning! Spur in George was one of my most favourite places to go, especially because my children enjoyed it so much! Last night, 2013/04/13 at about 19h00 I ordered Chicken Snitchelz with Rice and Veggies. I sat right opposite the kitchen, directly in the face of the kitchen staff. I saw one of the kitchen staff taking out my 2 snitchelz with her bare hand (no gloves), and put it on a plate, she passed the plate to a second member, the lady took the spoon and dished the rice into the plate, I was fine with that, just to be shocked!!! She took her bare hands and pressed my rice into a heap with her bare hand (no gloves) What a health risk! I was disgusted to the core, I jumped up and asked her if that was my food she is pressing with her hands, and she said yes, she will dish new rice for me? I told the waiter, He told the manager, and nothing came of it! That was my last visit to Spur after that experience, I was totally disgusted that in a restaurant business people are not wearing the necessary equipment to reduce health risks.
