I bought three steer real deal burger meals today. The order was ready in a timely fashion and i was rather pleased with that as i was trying to beat 5pm traffic. When i got home and served the meal to my son and partner we found that the burgers were impossible to eat. The chips were okay but the bread buns were dry and crumbly and the patties on the inside were rather thin and were served with but a dollop of 1000 island sauce and a slice of gerkin each. I would have returned the meals if it wasn't such a mission to get back to steers, we just decided to get something else for supper. Not only were the burgers dry they seemed all squashed when unwrapped. I have had this meal a dozen times from the steers at the total in Observatory and it has always been good. The buns were fresh, the meal was hot and we have always thought it was great value for money. Today i am very disappointing. I did not manage to get steers Rondebosch on the phone in order to make a complaint but i believe i needed to bring the issue to the supplier's attention.
