We were at Ocean Basket in Fourways mall yesterday (17.03.2013). We sat inside the restuarant but close to the doors leading to the outside sitting area. there were bee's everywhere so we decided to move further into the restuarant closer to the entrance,
Bee's were still flying close to our drinks and food (after us complaining about the bees to our waitor who did nothing to assist) until 1 bee landed up in my drink and i asked the waitor to please replace my drink. the waitor replied rudely that there was nothing he could do so i asked to speak to the manager. She gave me the same response that the drink will have to be replaced at my own cost.
I was disgusted at this poor service and left the table. My friends sorted out the bill and got a senior managers phone number (Shaun). when i called Shaun and explained what had happened he also said SORRY THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO!
Firstly, there is no sign warning customers of the bees
Secondly, the staff said they complained on numerous occasions and nothing was done about the bee problem
Thirdly, the service and attitude i received was disgusting!!!
YOU HAVE RUINED YOUR REPUTATION OVER A R20 DRINK!!!
