I phoned Papachino's just after 12 this afternoon to book a table for 2 people at 7pm.
The gentleman I spoke to was very courteous and took my details down.
I arrived at the restaurant on time, and the entire place was full, and no table had been kept for us.
I specified to be seated in the adult area so that I could smoke away from the kids.
After querying this with the manager, I was told I could wait at the bar, and they may be able to get me a table in the family section.
I did so enjoy this restaurant, but not honoring a booking made well in advance is unacceptable.
We decided to try Let's Meat in the Lonehill shopping center instead, as our table was not booked for us, and we had a splendid time.
It was our first time at Let's Meat and not only the food, but the service was excellent.
I highly recommend Let's Meat.
Papachino's... not so much anymore. I shudder to think what would have happened had we made a birthday party booking.
