At shortly before 5pm yesterday I went into Europa Cafe at Killarney. I was told that the kitchen was closed but that I could order something to drink and I said that was fine because that was all I wanted. There were other patrons ordering drinks at the same time as me. About ten minutes later I was finished my cold drink and waiting for the bill when one of the waitresses who was mopping moved all the chairs away from my table and started mopping under the table, the dirty mop going over my feet. When I complained she completely ignored me and carried on. I am very sympathetic to the fact that staff want to go home on time but then the right thing to do would be to turn customers away and say that you are closed instead of treating them so disrepectfully. I had a similar experience at this branch previously when friends and I went there after movies on a Saturday and the waitress was so rude, banging cups on the table and making us feel like we were trash from the street imposing on her precious time.
