On Sunday 23 Feb 2013, my wife and I decided to go to the Ocean Basket in Menlyn shopping centre. We arrived at the door @ 19h20 which was locked when we saw a paper sign stating that they close @ 19h30??? Noticing that there were approximately 25 tables still occupied in the store a waiter with a very bad attitude came to the door and informed us that they are already closed. Is it Ocean Basket's policy to close all their stores this early? With the current fuel price what is the point to drive all the way to Menlyn just to be told abruptly that you cannot enter the store & this without any valid reason or explanation?? I certainly hope that this type of poor service was a point of discussion at the National Ocean Basket Seminar held a week ago at the Champagne Castle Sports Resort - Drakensberg. Employees with this type of attitude and lack of customer care, who without giving it a second thought will shut the door in a customers face, will surely do your business more harm than good. Your website advertises "Find a Fishing Spot" - No thank you Ocean Basket Menlyn, I will surely not return to YOUR fishing spot with this type of "unwelcome" welcoming.
