To Whom it May Concern,
I unfortunately have to report bad service experienced at the KFC in Beacon Bay (East London) on 21 February at approximately 9:30pm.
I stopped at the local KFC with four friends to grab a quick bite to eat. When we arrived the staff were cleaning up (mopping the floor, cleaning the counter tops etc.) The employee that attended to our group was named Shavonne (I did not get her surname).
She did very well in taking our order. However, when she prepared the food she went straight from handling cleaning rags, mopps and cleaning products to making our meal without wearing gloves.
When I asked why she wasn't wearing any gloves she shouted back "This is how you make a twister! How am I supposed to make it? I did wash my hands! "
I then asked her "Do you normally speak to clients with such an attitude? " to which she did not respond.
I did not want to humiliate her in front of her staff members so I chose to not make a scene... I then took my meal and after leaving the branch, I found a rubbish bin a few meters away and threw the meal away.
An apology and wearing n gloves would have been a simple solution in that moment.
