My wife and I ordered 2 box-master meals from this KFC branch to take away. Once we got home and opened our food we were disgusted by what was packed therein and sold to us. We are usually very happy with this particular order so we had no reason to open the containers in store. What we found was:
* in the first meal, was a burnt hash brown (blackened and inedible), stale chalky chips and old wilted salad.
* in the second meal was exactly the same as the first but it was packaged in half a pita/wrap.
After trying to contact the branch to lay a complaint with a manager I eventually gave up as nobody answers the telephone.
I am outraged that we were swindled in this way. I cannot believe that a food service branch in a franchise as large as KFC can dare give a paying customer such a revolting standard of food.
I expect this to be followed up and I expect an explanation not an apology as to how they think this was acceptable.
Absolutely mortified.
