We are a group of 8 people who meet once a month for supper club and go to resturants unbeknown to our members for one and rate them for our individual interest and for friends...
Seeing it was my birthday month... I had to book a restaurant for the month of Oct.. Seeing we had always spoken about going to a Greek restaurant and dance zoba and break plates. I found Vareladiko in Brackenfell where we could have fun... I was told to a deposit of R50 per person as the place gets booked out.. When we arrived there on Friday there was one other table and no one else. I would say there was a total of maybe 20 people in that establishment that night... Of course we drank wine/ we danced.. been taught by the owners wife. To cut a story short... we were later told not allowed to break plates and first we took too long to get to the dance floor and secondly we were to drunk. Which we were not at all. We were then told to please leave the premises as we were asking and asking why cant we break plates and what this all was. The owner then used dirty filthy language especially to us ladies to pay and leave. Outside were the cops and security. The son was insulting and raised his hands
