After reading most of the articles about Aarya I decided to book for our anniversary lunch. I booked a month in advance as they told me over the phone that they were fully booked two weeks ahead. I informed the lady (pity I did not get her name) that it was an anniversary and that we would like a quite table. She promised that we would get the best table in the house. 7.7.2013 arrives and I am super excited to experience Aarya and Deena's food. We arrive at the restaurant, gave them my name - said we had a booking - the "hostess" did not even bother to look in a book and then proceeded to take us to a table that was right in front of were they serve the potato/pumpkin and lamb shank. Its a noisy restaurant - the staff are loud. The Manager Clive was the only person that was softly spoken and he really tried to be very professional. Our waitress did not know how to open a bottle of wine. She stretch across my husband and I to take our bread plates away. The food was was good. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the lamb ribs. In my opinion Tsogo Sun is running on a name and Deena Naidoo has nothing to do with Aarya. All in all a disappointing experience.
