We went for a quiet lunch at Mythos. The lady that helped us seemed very disappointed that we wanted to have the lunch specials that they were running at the time. I just felt that she became very unfriendly like it was inconvenient for her to help us. I ordered a sallad - she only brought tomato souce, no balsamic or olive oil, I had to ask the manager for that. Then when our food came my haloumi sallad had 5 small pieces of haloumi, enough cucumber & lettuce for almost 3 people. Really, 5 pieces of haloumi for R49, that's like almost R10 a piece and I am sure it wasn't even 100grams of haloumi in total. I was sad that I didn't rather go to Cappuccino's next door as their sallads never fail to impress me. I could have ordered fillet meze for that amount and it didn't feel like it could be compared to the same value. When we paid our bill and walked out, the lady didn't even acknowledge us or say "have a nice day". We aren't there to choose the most expensive meal so she can get a fat tip, we went cause we know Mythos for its good food and we wanted to try the specials but we could have gone to a restaurant next door. I had to make food at home as I was still hungry.
