What a disappointing visit. Having been a loyal supporter of this place I recently went there with my kids and I will never return. They have no menu except for some items written on the black board. I was shocked when I got my bill - paid R45 for a kiddies meal (consisted out of 4 cocktail sausages and some french fries). The waiters are rude and it seems like this place solely relies on its location (having a nice kiddies play area) to get the customers through the door. I hope that the other venues down the road (e.g Mooiberge, who has an excellent kiddies menu, is well priced and offers great service with a nice play area) will cause Charlie Cook's to pull up their socks before they realise that parents only come to have a coffee while they watch the kids play for 2 hours.
