I visited Spur KC around 2pm on Saturday the 19th of Jan 2013. I was accompanied by 3 children 6 years and under. We ordered 1 x rump steak and 3 x kiddies meals (2 x mini burgers with smiley face discs). The little ones were exited about those smiley faces.
When the kiddies meals arrived they did not match the visual description of the menu. The mini burgers consisted of 1 large roll that was cut in two, each with a mini patty (a makeshift mini burger). Also the smiley discs were replaced by normal fries. I immediately asked the waiter about the smiley faces and she said something to the effect of "Oh sorry, you were supposed to ask for the smiley faces and besides they are quite oily" That was a blatant lie, right? At that point I left it because the kids were hungry. So what I've learnt is that it doesn't matter what is on the menu, you chop and change as you see fit, without any consultation. That is poor service. My meal in turn was unappetising, Yes, it was a 200g, but it was thin and cold. The onion rings were cold, The only hot and enjoyable item on the plate was the fries. That is not good. This is not the play date I planned
