Stopped at NANDO's in Harrismith on our way home from the coast and ordered a simple BOX OF RICE, not a WHOLE meal, just a box of rice! After waiting 20 minutes, I asked how long my order would still be. I was glared at and completely ignored. 5 minutes later when other customers also started complaining, we were told to "wait another 10 minutes, we are cooking rice! " 35 minutes for one box of rice. Why weren't we told that there was no rice when we ordered. The Manager wasn't particularly interested in the matter either. I know they were busy but come on Nando's... give your staff correct training on how to deal with customers. Moyi stood at the counter, screaming into the kitchen like a banshee. Not a good impression!! Disgusted to say the least.
