This has been my experience on multiple occasions at the olive and oil in pmb however the last time was just so obvious that the atmosphere was uncomfortable. on arrival we were greeted by the manager who seated us and took our drinks order he did no offer us the complimentary sherry yet did offer to everyone else who came through. every single time i have been there if the company i was with had a white person we were allocated a white waiter if there were non whites present we would ALWAYS have a black waiter. they make the atmosphere feel uncomfortable as if we are not welcome or we cannot pay for their service! the other olive and oil restaurants in dbn are certainly not like this one. they are welcoming and hospitable. i feel as if it is an attitude that runs from the manager to waiters. im disappointed that racisim is made so obvious and certainly would hope that the attitude changes!!! Good food but BAD attitude toward nonwhites! it is just unacceptable that this goes on and feel that racisim should not be supported. personal opinions should be left at home and not displayed towards customers!!!
