I arrived at Zaras Cafe today for breakfast and asked one of the waiters for assistance in terms of procuring a table. I repeated my request whilst chatting to friends I had encountered and to my shock and horror the manager and owner literally started screaming at me about being patient and not yell at her staff. I was astounded and embarrassed at this response as it was completely baseless. The frustration of running a busy restaurant should not be directed at an enthusiastic patron. Her response was acceptable and unjustified. I have no intention of returning anytime soon and she clearly needs a lesson in etiquette and customer service.
