Yesterday, 17 March 2013, we, as a family, decided that it would be a great idea to go out for a nice relaxing lunch.
Upon our arrival at rusty hook (14:10) we got seated at a table that still had what seemed the be a resemblance of the morning breakfast on it.
The Carvery was recommended to us & we went to go & look at it. When we go to the meat section the Chef said to us that he was going to be preparing more Beef & Chicken as he thought that the Sunday rush over was over.
We ordered one carvery & some starters. The starters in the carvery were so old that the "Creamy Mussels" had actually curdled & had gone rock hard, the fish strips were grey in colour.
We order the 3 kids meals at the some time we ordered the starters. The sent out a Beef Lasagne that the waitress could not even carry as it was too hot! The 4 year old son that the meal was intended for kept scolding his hand on the dish every time he tried to pick his spoon up!
The ribs that were served were so tough that the steak knife provided to us could not even cut through the ribs properly.
The chips were cooked in stale oil and were still raw. We all have bad stomachs today. That place is a
