The Slug And Lettuce
Trinchado is Portuguese!!

My colleagues and I went to have lunch at the Slug n Lettuce Rivonia today (20 Dec). My colleague ordered a beef trinchado which came as beef cubes in a barbecue basting sauce. Needless to say when we complainted that this is not the way trinchado is made, we got told that this is how it is made at Slug n Lettuce and that the traditional trinchado is made the portuguese way and we dont make it that way- - Trinchado is portuguese? Please change your recipe- nothing worse than ordering something and not getting what you expect- sauce is meant to be creamy and not a basting sauce...
