As a paying customer one expects to be given what you ask for. I choose to think that my money is just as valuable as any one else's, but it seems that franchise restaurants don't seem to give a. My boyfriend and I have always supported Panarottis, but today we again encountered this ridiculous policy that as an adult one is not allowed to order a "small milkshake" or anything small for that matter, since I can apparently afford to buy a "big one." I don't see the logic in not allowing someone to eat or drink something they want if they are paying for it, but happen to not be under the age of 15?
After ordering two small milkshakes, the waiter eventually brought our order, but not before having to "go and get the manager" who never bothered to show up. Could someone please give me a very good reason for this ridiculous policy other than exploitation? Explain to me why my money is not good enough to pay for something I want. What if I don't want to drink and entire milkshake? Would you rather me leave and go and support another business or would you like me to remain a loyal customer?
