Very hungry my wife, daughter and i went to the MAXIES Jakaranda in Pretoria, to our disgust we were served old food. I took a look at the food that my daughter did not want to eat and discovered old chips and very stale bread that was toasted (it crumbled into dust with the first bite). I called the manager (Adrian) who did not deny the fact that my family and i were served old dangerous to or health food. I am disgusted that a franchise of this popularity can disrespect and undermine our dignity and lively hood, the thought of crossed my mind because we are non whites in sunny jacaranda city with a young white manager and the shop still has mainly white clientele, but i realised that this was a case of utter mismanagement and greed for money by not wanting to dispose of their expired food produce. I will not accept the fact that we were served food that should have been fed to pigs. I am going to per sue this matter because my dignity has been tarnished.
