Friends of ours wanted to dine at Ala Turka for the first time, and the rest of us wanted to see the new venue. Upon arriving they didn't list our booking. Sending us to locate the manager. Booking was in the book just not on their seating chart. Never once did a waiter come to the table. We kept asking for service. Set menu for 6 people, more like 4 people. The food was horrible you can taste the lamb, beef & chicken was frozen before cooked, No flavor if you only like canned tomato pate over your food. While you are eating a belly dancer pull's a seat from your table stand literally on top you. The dessert was the most lame thing on this planet 3 slices of watermelon 3 cubes 10x10mm of Turkish delight 3 baklava 10x10mm we got 2 platters of this non-since for 6 people.we arrived at 6:30pm left there at 11pm! Its like they do one set service for everyone in the restaurant. Runners take away full can's of coldrink plates/glasses when you are not done. Owner and manager dont care how their clients are treated. Bill R18324.00 for set menu of R190pp coldrinks & beer. You leave the restaurant feeling mistreated and robed. Not satisfied. NEVER GOING BACK
