On a lovely Sunday afternoon, we headed to Tuscany Beach restaurant in Camps Bay, Cape Town. It was boiling hot and we waited 15minutes for someone to take our drinks orders. She got it wrong. All wrong. I kept begging her for more ice, as all the drinks were warm! We then ordered food, it arrived after a looong time, and it was absolutely disgusting!! My pizza was inedible, it was chewy like a piece of gum. My friend's sushi was warm!!! Raw fish is not meant to be WARM!!! My other friend ordered a prawn and avo salad, which was very expensive, the prawns were chewy and tiny, the avo was hardly anywhere to be seen on the plate, the leaves were wilted and brown. When we called the manager on duty, he was super rude to us, shouted back at us that the food was fresh (which it was clearly not!) I refused to pay for the food, as we didn't consume anything, it was too gross. He kept being rude and called the other manager as well, he also shouted at us. I'm sorry, but we weren't complaining for no reason. I refuse to pay any kind of price for such bad quality food. Needless to say, we went home hungry. Will NEVER EVER EVERRRR go back to that restaurant again.
