The Keg and Kingfisher used to be a family favourite! My Mum & Dad ate there most Sun afternoons and we often took our children there - they loved counting the Kingfishers in the chalk drawings.
After a long absence, we popped in there yesterday - what a disappointment!
Dirty plates left on table, bar floor area covered in spilled peanuts, dustbins in waiters station overflowing. Our bar area table was greasy and the table mat on it was dirty and sticky.
To top it all, we left without my wife getting the chocolate milkshake she ordered, despite us being reassured twice that "they are busy with it".
I assumed the gentleman hanging around the waiters' station was the Manager, but actually managing the place was the furthest thing on his mind!
Overall very disappointing and I wonder if the franchisee knows what is going on in the store.
PS The newly constructed wooden deck looks very good!
