I purchased a pizza through Debonairs website from their Norwood branch on 28/11/2013. There was an issue with funds in my account when I initially put the purchase through. I received this message from the website, no confirmation of purchase was given. I then went and ensured I have enough funds in my account and did the online purchase again. it went through successfully and my pizza was delivered.

today I get a phone call from the manager (and then the owner) of debonairs norwood, DEMANDING that I pay for my pizza! I told them they need to sort out their issue on their side, as I received confirmation from my bank that the purchase went through. The manager and owner refused to accept this as they are obviously too lazy to go through their records to see that payment was made, and they insisted I come in and pay. I refused and hung up the phone as this is honestly not my problem.

In this day and age, a restaurant needs to treat every customer with respect, integrity and give them the benefit of the doubt. I do not know of any restaurants, particularly fast food chains, that can afford to of their customers.

For this reason, I am boycotting the Norwood branch.
