I don't know about the other Vegans out there, but is is normally a battle to find a decent and different meal at a restaurant in Durban area. The extent of a vegan menu is a salad. I would have thought that most of these fancy up market restaurants employed chefs and not cooks. They either have very limited imaginations or have not been trained very well.
Must say not the case with Mundo Vida. We had a business meeting there on Friday and phoned to see if they could accommodate us. They said no problem and took care of it. We got to our main course, and they brought out a plate of veggies that made the "meat " eaters mouths water. It was well presented, tasted good and was more than enough to fill that gap after a long day on the golf course.
Would like to say thank you to the staff and look forward to going back.
