So I get my meal delivered, hoping to enjoy my quarter chicken meal, after a long tiring day on a Sunday afternoon. Early hours of the morning I wake up with excruciating abdominal pains. With diahorrea and endless violent vomiting. Hoping the pain would subside, I endured a few more hours of it thinking it was just a bug.By mid morning, I was taken to the hospital, and put on a drip, the diagnosis being FOOD POISONING! Upon making a formal complaint, being interrogated by Nandos as though I was lying, I was told to wait 2 weeks for an investigation to take place! 2 and a half weeks later, I was told that procedure was taken when preparing the food and a R200 meal voucher was the best they could do for the inconvenience. How do you investigate a meal already consumed 2 weeks later. Aside from the fact that I would never eat at Nando's Douglasdale again, what happens to the medical bills incurred. But don't worry, our lives are only worth R200 to Nandos.
