Quality of Food has diminished

I was trying to understand why a once busy Meat Co in Montecasino was almost empty on a Saturday afternoon until I sat down with my family for lunch.

Be warned, a guy comes around with cut pieces of Biltong on a try for tasting, fresh and sweet to lure you, then when you buy the same biltong, you get a salty taste, hard and dry pieces and the price tag on your bill is much higher than advertised

On the food itself, the bread is stale, very dry, lamp chops cut thin to the bone as opposed to what it used to be. The Oxtail pieces were totally off the bone already, and the pap was watered down almost tasting burnt and the sauce (that used to be red) is now brownish.

We brought this to the waiter and manager and they just brushed it off.

The waiter had the audacity to ask if we will give a tip - first of all tips are at your discretion for good service, its not an entitlement for the waiter.

Upon realising he is not getting a tip, he left without acknowledging us. Thank we did not give a tip because now we know that MeatCo waiters smile only because they want a tip.

Very dissapointed and I am certain that none of my friends or family will waste their money here.
