This is the first time I have been to your restaurant and I was very disappointed with the experience. We were a table of 9 people, and we all ordered seafood (kingklip or seafood platter) at the waiter's recommendation. Everyone's kingklip was overcooked and dry, and different people mentioned this to the waiter independently and at different times. His first response, in an indignant tone: "That is the first time I have ever heard of that". His second response to another comment by someone else at the opposite end of the table: "I believe so". No apologies, no offer to recook everyone's fish. His tone wasn't even apologetic. He was so inflated by his own sense of importance, he dismissed the complaint immediately as if it was not legitimate. The floor manager eventually came to us and said that he had mentioned it to the chef, but is that really good enough? You pride yourselves on being an upmarket restaurant but the attitude of your staff is bad and you make no effort to rectify mistakes. We sat in a hot restaurant eating rubbery fish and wish we'd gone somewhere else to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday.
