I went to steers in Rosebank this past Saturday and was served by someone named Leticia. when I went to collect my order minutes later I noticed that my order had been put in a bag so i told the lady who was calling out orders that its not for take-away. She had a big quarrel with Leticia about why it was marked for takeaway. Leticia screamed from the far end (tills) saying "what am I supposed to do when these people tell me something else but tell you something else? " I then spoke to Leticia and asked when exactly had she asked me if it is for take-away or sit-down meal. she said I must keep quiet as she is not talking to me and I must not shout at her. I was so shocked by this response! I carried on speaking to her and told her to not about me when im standing right there and its her job to make sure she asks me and not mine. she said "well you should have reminded me" and walked away. the lady calling out the orders apologised and another gentleman at the back apologised too.
I dont work at steers. i don't know at which point Im supposed to remind staff to ask me how I want my order.
