I had purchased an order today for a family meal. Included in the order was 2 coleslaw, expiry date today. When I got home and we started to eat, all 3 that was eating KFC realised the coleslaw is off and tastes disgusting. I contacted Paarl branch manager Joy who wanted me to bring in the salad. I told her we are living far and I am not simply returning to the store to bring back a small tub of salad. She then suggested I return tomorrow. There was NO mention of a refund simply a insincere attempt at an apology. I mentioned to her the service is bad, as my small child could get sick because of eating bad food. She then proceeded to say thats why I should bring in the salad, IN CASE ANYONE OF US GET SICK AND THE SALAD CAN GET TESTED. She also mentioned that the inspector was at the store today, but I told her that obviously your salad wasnt checked properly. I even told her that her response was not satisfactory for me, but she had nothing to say to even suggest that my complaint is valid or worrying. I am extremely annoyed and dissatisfied at her reaction and lack of interest and I find her unwillingness to compensate me unacceptable.
