Dear Spur,
I am appalled at the service that received from the spur in Newlands, Cape Town on this past Saturday night. Me and my friends ordered 3 T bones and 3 different burgers including a plain, peperment and cheese burger and 2 fillet pepper steaks. I got to spur most weekends with friends the burgers and fillets were the usual perfect steak. The T bone however was severely undercooked all three of them looked like they had barely touched the grill. After talking to the waiter I got a rude remark about it is not his problem but the kitchens. He took them and 15min later, we got back our 3 T bone steaks by this stage were extremely well done and by this time were more like chared around the outside than anything and were not really eatable. On top of all of this the waiter was lucky to get his usual percent tip which was around 70 bucks because I bill was 700, he made a remark that we have under tipped him???
I never have bad experiences with spur except for the occasional one ever so often that most of the time occurs at the spur in Newlands. I am very disappointed and thinking about finding a new steak house.
Please do something to fix this because this is complete rubbish
