Mcdonalds
Bad attitude and Bad Service

It walked into Mcdonalds CBD wanting to buy a cup of coffee, only to discover that they were giving patrons free coffee as part of their 67mins of Kindness for Nelson Mandela's Birthday. I was first pretty impressed at the initiative, but it soon wore off 30mins later when I was still waiting in a queue that STILL had not moved. The Manager came out, shouting across the franchise with staff, speaking in Xhosa, laughing, and such. At one point she came out and said that she would only offer the coffee to 50 or so ppl and started counting us in the queue, then instructed the cleaning lady to stop any more people from joining the queue. Now I'm a proud South African, and this campaign is something near and dear to my heart, because I feel we don't show enough kindness to each other, so for the Manager to decide to stop offering this "act of kindness" because it was an convenient for her and staff, was disgusting and a slap in the face of what the Campaign was all about. The next friday I went again to get a cup of FREE coffee, and it was even worse. I waited for 20mins, then got told at the counter to go outside, look 4 someone to give me a cup, only then would they offer me coffee
