Having dined in this establishment twice before I am saddened that my experience has become worse and worse following a very positive first experience not long after they had first opened their doors. Last Saturday prior to the lunchtime rush (we were the only people in the restaurant), my partner and I ordered 2 burgers which were over cooked with stale buns. At no stage did our waiter ask us how our food was so when he cleared our plates, I advised him in a polite manner that the food was sub-standard. He responded saying he would advise the chef but seemed very uninterested in our complaint. We had no further feedback from him regarding the quality of the food when he delivered out bill, so due to his lack of interest we decided not to leave a tip on the R195 total. Our waiter then proceeded to charge my credit card for R1950. When asked if this is because I complained and left no tip he advised that this is not the case but that the poor food was the kitchen's responsibility and not his. The first manager to approach me offered me cash for the over charged amount and when i refused he had to call on another manager to process the refund to my credit card.
