On Monday morning a friend and I had lunch at Spur Ottery. When we arrived at the entrance we waited to be seated, the lady behind the cash register completely ignored us. I then greeted and asked if i should seat myself or if someone will be showing me to a table. She replied " choose a table, someone will be with you shortly", we waited 20minutes and still no one came, i then asked someone passing by to take our orders. He took our orders, we waited another 15minutes for our food, the roles were dry, old and hard. While we were having our meal not one person came to ask us if everything is ok and if we would like to order anything else. When we were done eating we waited 30minutes and still no one came to remove our plates. We then decided to leave, when heading to the front to pay for our food all the staff was standing at the front having a lovely chat. Someone at the front wearing a black shirt was placing orders for something and we had to wait for him to finish checking how much money was in the till before we could pay. i was in shock because ive never ever received service like this from any spur before. i am utterly disgusted and i will never go back to this branch.
